Digital Communications Officer

About the role
World Gymnastics is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join our Communications team in Lausanne. In this role you will be responsible for producing and publishing digital content across the official website, social media platforms, and partner channels.
You will work closely with the Events and Technical teams to deliver timely, accurate coverage of World Championships, World Cups, and other FIG-sanctioned competitions. You will also support athlete and federation communication campaigns and contribute to media rights and broadcast partner coordination.
This is a hands-on content and communications role suited to someone with a strong background in digital journalism, sport communications, or a related field, and a genuine passion for gymnastics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, media, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in digital communications, preferably within international sport.
- Excellent written English; French or other FIG official language is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience managing content for social media platforms at an organisational level.
- Experience with CMS platforms, photo and video editing tools.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure during live competition periods.
- Knowledge of the gymnastics landscape is a strong advantage.
